Lynne was born on Tyneside. She studied the clarinet at the Newcastle College of Arts & Technology. She has also studied privately with Jack Brymer.

Lynne moved to Somerset in 1984 where she took up a full time teaching post at a private girls school. In 1997 she formed her own light classical music ensemble ‘Trio Con Brio‘ and has travelled the world as guest classical artist on numerous cruises, as well as entertaining guests at weddings, parties and corporate events.

Lynne is also an accomplished saxophone and flute player which has made her a valuable musician on the musical theatre circuit. Lynne has also worked as session musician for BBCand ITV and can be heard on TV themes and incidental music.

In her free time she enjoys driving her World War II Jeep and cannot wait to be driving around Skye!
